Often seen growing on the side of a tree or building, ivy is an easy way to add greenery to any environment. This versatile plant can grow indoor or outdoor in warm or cool conditions. If this is your first ivy, we have all the care tips you will need to know!
LIGHT: Prefer partial or full shade when outdoors. Indoors they prefer bright indirect light in summer and partial direct light in winter.
SOIL: Well-draining. Keep soil moist in outdoor dry climates by adding mulch.
WATER: Water when soil is dry. Do not overwater.
TEMPERATURE: Flexible, tolerates temperatures 45-80°F. Avoid harsh winter cold or summer heat.
HUMIDITY: Flexible, appreciates medium to high humidity.
SAFETY: All parts of plant (stems, leaves, berries) toxic to dogs, cats, and humans when ingested or making contact on skin. Please be mindful before growing around pets or small children.
FERTILIZER: Every two weeks during active growth in spring and summer.
